Overview

Our client is looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal

Client Details: A leading law firm

Responsibilities
  • Handle a caseload of residential (and/or commercial) property transactions under supervision
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
  • Conduct property searches, review title documents, and raise/reply to pre-contract enquiries
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties
  • Prepare and submit Land Registry and HMRC applications (e.g. Stamp Duty Land Tax returns)
  • Manage deadlines to ensure smooth and timely exchange and completion of transactions
  • Maintain accurate file records and case management system entries
  • Assist with post-completion work such as registration and closing files
  • Support fee earners and attend meetings as required
Profile
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legal procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
