An established and reputable conveyancing firm in Kettering is currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their busy and successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in conveyancing support who is looking to join a forward-thinking and supportive firm.

About the Role:

As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners with the smooth running of residential property transactions. This position would suit a highly organised and motivated individual with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing files under supervision.

Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Carry out searches, Land Registry applications, ID checks and other administrative tasks.

Provide high levels of customer service and regular updates to clients.

Use the case management system to manage workflows and documentation effectively.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience working in a conveyancing legal support role.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience using conveyancing case management systems.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

A team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Sound understanding of residential property transactions and legal processes.
