A regional law firm in Hartlepool is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer for a permanent position. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours and involves managing a full caseload from inception to completion. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in residential conveyancing, strong communication skills, and good IT abilities. This respected practice provides a welcoming environment and competitive salary, with ongoing investment in its staff and property team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm based in Hartlepool. This is a permanent position offering either full-time or part-time hours, making it a flexible and attractive option for an experienced conveyancer looking for long-term stability and quality work.
Our client has a strong reputation for its residential property offering and is known for delivering a high standard of service to both private and business clients. The role will involve managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion, including sales, purchases and new build transactions. You will be advising clients throughout the conveyancing process via telephone, email and face-to-face meetings, liaising closely with estate agents, mortgage lenders, the Land Registry and other solicitors, and drafting all relevant documentation including post-completion and registration work.
This opportunity would suit a conveyancer with at least two years’ experience in residential conveyancing who is confident running files independently and has solid experience with new build matters. You should be comfortable using a case management system, have good IT skills including MS Word and Excel, and bring a well‑organised, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner with clients are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
The firm offers a welcoming and professional working environment, is well accredited for its conveyancing standards, and has built a strong presence across the region over many years. This is a great opportunity to join a respected practice at a time when it continues to invest in its people and its property team. Salary will be agreed depending on experience and is competitive for the local market.
