Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking an AI Designer to create and enhance AI interactions. This role involves optimizing Generative AI outputs, prototyping solutions, and utilizing behavioral science to improve user engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience with Generative AI design, prompt engineering, and a solid understanding of user-centered design processes, all while advocating for the Generative AI Design community. This position offers a contract duration of 12+ months with a possibility to convert to full-time employment.

Job description

Role : AI Designer

Duration : 12+ months of extension, possibility to convert to FTE

Working hours : 40 Hours per week (8 hours per day)

Time zone : CET

Location : London, UK or Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• As an AI Designer, you will design new AI experiences or enhance existing ones, focusing on improving the interaction patterns between users and Generative AI models.
• Optimize outputs of Generative AI models to meet user expectations for length and information presentation
• Use behavioural science principles to design mechanisms that nudge user behaviour toward better outcomes.
• Prototype AI experiences and validate them with users to help communicate concepts before they are developed
• Track performance of Generative AI models using qualitative and quantitative data. Turn insights into opportunities to improve the experience.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Data Scientists to optimize models in an agile development environment.
• Bridge user needs and AI capabilities by translating user insights into AI design strategies that guide the development of effective, user-cantered AI solutions in close collaboration with Data Science and Product Management.
• Drive the creation and take ownership of client’s Generative AI design Framework, documenting standards, processes and methods
• Be an advocate for the Generative AI Design community of practice and communicate the value of Generative AI Design to stakeholders
• Guide other UX practitioners who wish to learn the craft of Generative AI Design

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude - comfortable learning new software products
