Controls Engineer Water Industry

Location : Bath (with travel to local sites as required)

Salary : Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract : Full-time, permanent

The Opportunity

An established engineering organisation based near Bath is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of automation and control systems within the water and wastewater sector.

This is a key role within a growing team, working on a range of projects from control panel design to site commissioning. You’ll play a hands‑on part in developing reliable, compliant, and efficient systems that support essential water treatment and distribution processes.

About the Role

As a Controls Engineer, you’ll take ownership of projects across the full lifecycle from initial design and PLC programming through to on‑site testing and commissioning. You’ll be involved in the integration of electrical, control, and automation systems across pumping stations, treatment plants, and related infrastructure.
