Job summary

An established power generation company is seeking a Control Room Operator to manage day-to-day operations at a combined cycle facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with gas turbines and familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems, as well as the ability to work a rotating shift pattern. Your responsibilities will include operating the plant, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient operations alongside maintenance technicians. This role offers a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience with gas turbines.
• Experience operating a power plant via a DCS / SCADA system.
• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the combined cycle facility.
• Fault find and troubleshoot plant when needed.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates and emissions.
• Work with maintenance to ensure the plant is running efficiently.
