Qualifications

  • Must hold a full UK Driving License.
  • Strong understanding of wiring, motors, circuits and distribution systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting control systems.

Responsibilities

Where you'll be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What you'll be doing?
  • You’ll calibrate control systems for optimal performance, making sure each system operates as efficiently and accurately as possible.
  • You’ll maintain and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS, addressing faults and keeping operations running smoothly.
  • You’ll ensure instrumentation systems operate accurately and reliably so that all measurements and processes remain consistent.
  • You’ll also install, calibrate, and maintain instruments used to measure variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, and level, supporting precise monitoring across all equipment.
What you'll bring?
  • Do you have a full UK Driving License?
  • Do you have electrical systems knowledge, with a strong understanding of wiring, motors, circuits and distribution systems?
  • Are you proficient in calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting sensors, transmitters and control valves?
  • Do you have control systems knowledge?
