Location: Offices in Northamptonshire / Leicestershire (travel to sites as required)

Salary: £65,000 to £95,000 (DOE) + Van + Fuel Card + Benefits

This established groundworks specialist operates from offices in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, running 6 – 7 active sites at any time and employing around 50 skilled staff. With over 30 years of combined experience, the company delivers high-quality groundworks across commercial, residential and retail groundworks.

They pride themselves on safety, quality, efficiency and reliability. All staff are trained to industry standards (CSCS, CPCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, NPORS) and the company maintains a strong reputation with major nationwide developers.

The Role - Contracts Manager Groundworks

You’ll take charge of multiple groundworks projects from start to finish, managing teams, budgets and client expectations while ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time and to specification. You’ll spend part of the week visiting sites and the rest in the office, ensuring smooth delivery and communication across all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage several groundworks sites across commercial and residential sectors

  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
  • Coordinate site teams and subcontractors
  • Work closely with operations and finance teams
  • Prepare and review project documentation and reports
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships
  • Support continuous improvement and company growth
