Job description

Our client, a well-established and growing M&E Contractor, is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Contracts Manager to join their team. This key role is responsible for managing and delivering FM service contracts across a portfolio of technically complex buildings following project handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Facilities Management contracts covering mechanical, electrical, and associated building services
  • Oversee hard FM service delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly, and in line with contractual KPIs
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
  • Manage contract mobilisation, variations, renewals, and performance reviews
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control across FM contracts
  • Coordinate with project delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to FM
  • Carry out site audits, inspections, and compliance checks
  • Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety, and SLA adherence across all contracts
  • Support tendering, procurement, and appointment of FM supply chain partners
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Facilities Management contract management, ideally within an M&E contracting environment
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Experience managing hard FM services and maintenance contracts
  • Good knowledge of statutory compliance, H&S legislation, and industry standards
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and contract performance
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable)
