Job summary

Social Account Manager (Freelance / Contract)

Overview

We're looking for a Social Account Manager to join a leading global creative agency, supporting social media activity for a major international consumer brand.

This role sits within a busy, integrated social team and will focus on the day‑to‑day management and delivery of social campaigns and always‑on content, working closely with strategists, creatives, community managers and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage social media activity end-to-end across always‑on and campaign‑led work

  • Support delivery of social content calendars, timelines and publishing schedules

  • Act as a key day-to-day contact across internal teams and external partners

  • Coordinate briefs, approvals, amends and delivery across multiple workstreams

  • Ensure social content aligns with brand tone, platform best practice and audience insight

  • Support reporting and performance analysis, feeding into optimisation and learnings

  • Help maintain smooth account operations in a fast‑paced agency environment

Required Experience
  • Proven experience in a social account management role, ideally within a creative or social agency

  • Hands‑on experience managing social activity for consumer, lifestyle or beauty brands

  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and content formats

  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and confident managing multiple deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams

Nice to Have
  • Experience working on global or multi‑market social accounts

  • Familiarity with social analytics and reporting tools

  • Exposure to influencer or creator‑led social content
