Contract Senior Business Analyst – Information Technology

Are you passionate about harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence to transform business operations? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead an enterprise-wide AI Program, driving initiatives across multiple business functions, including Front Office, Mid Office, Back Office, and Shared Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior business analyst to shape an AI roadmap, collaborate closely with business and IT teams, and deliver high-impact use cases that strengthen operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's AI Program roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Manage intake, prioritization, and delivery of AI use cases, ensuring each initiative delivers business value and meets key performance indicators.
• Partner with Technical Program Managers and IT Business Analysts to identify business challenges and translate them into actionable AI opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through pilots, proof-of-concepts, and scaled deployments.
• Collaborate with IT teams to raise AI fluency and embed AI into enterprise applications, workflows, and processes.
• Manage relationships with key technology providers (e.g., Microsoft, Snowflake, OpenAI, Claude) and consulting partners, emphasizing knowledge transfer and long-term capability building.
• Promote responsible AI practices and establish governance frameworks that balance innovation with risk management.
• Facilitate internal knowledge sharing by leading AI working groups, hosting meetups, and presenting program progress and KPIs to executive stakeholders.
• Support internal AI training programs and coordinate external training offerings to build company-wide AI literacy.

Qualifications

• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives in AI, analytics, or digital transformation.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and translating needs into actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as Azure, Snowflake, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.
• Outcome-focused mindset with the ability to "think big, start small, and scale fast."

Nice to Have

• Experience in energy trading, utilities, or financial services.
• Background in data governance, enterprise data platforms, or digital innovation.
• Track record of scaling analytics or technology programs in complex enterprise environments.
