Job summary

A leading engineering and manufacturing organization in Greater London is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead a significant product operational transition. You will oversee the relocation of a product line, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has a proven record in managing complex operational transitions, particularly in engineering or regulated environments. This position offers a daily rate of £500 - £600 and is outside IR35 with a contract lasting 12 months.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in delivering complex site moves, operational transitions, or transformation projects.
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or regulated environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a manufacturing relocation.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource allocation.
  • Provide regular reporting and escalation on progress, risks, and budget performance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Location: Sunbury on Thames - Will need to travel to Towcester facility throughout project

Rate: £500 - £600 per day DOE

Contract: 12 Months - Outside IR35, January Start

Role Overview

Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation within the Aerospace & Defence sector, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead a major product operational transition. You will manage the full relocation of a product line between two sites, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
