Overview

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading wind energy company to deliver onshore wind operations and maintenance solutions in the UK. We are recruiting for a Contract and After Sales Manager to manage the full lifecycle of service maintenance contracts across Great Britain, from initial drafting and negotiation through to execution and compliance.

If you're an experienced contract manager in the energy or renewables sector, and you're ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping contracts that support operational and financial performance, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities and duties
  • Reporting to the Head of Aftersales you will
  • Analyse existing contracts and adapt templates to meet customer and business requirements
  • Lead negotiations for new contracts and renewals within company guidelines
  • Define financial margins and pricing for contractual services
  • Draft, finalise, and oversee the signing of all customer contractual documents
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and warranties
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legislation
  • Present contractual offers for internal approval and to clients
  • Provide contractual expertise to After Sales, Service, and Sales teams
  • Support tender preparations and negotiations with specialist knowledge of service performance
  • Advise on interpretation and application of contract clauses
  • Collaborate with contract experts and legal teams to validate and adjust contract terms
  • Ensure internal teams are informed about new contracts, conditions, and customer expectations
  • Develop new contract concepts and templates in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Integrate market feedback and customer needs into updated contract models
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management practices
Professional qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in business management, contract management, or related field
  • Demonstrable experience in a contract management role
  • Knowledge and experience with contractual, commercial, and technical aspects of the energy industry; wind experience preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Full UK Driving Licence
