The Team

Join our Quality, Safety & Improvements Team, part of the central Ground Operations function. This team manages and sets the policies and procedures for safety, readiness, regulatory compliance, training, and continuous improvement in Ground Operations, supporting a safe and on-time operation.

The Role

As Continuous Improvement & Process Manager, you’ll lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational improvement initiatives across ground operations. You’ll focus on safety performance, turnaround efficiency, and the adoption of new tools, equipment, and working practices. Partnering closely with airports, handlers, and cross-functional teams, you’ll identify risks, remove inefficiencies, and drive measurable performance gains across the easyJet network.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Own manuals and processes within GROPS, ensuring documentation is consistent with best practice
  • Lead analysis of turnaround KPIs and design improvement projects to streamline ground time and reduce delays
  • Collaborate with Ground Ops teams and stakeholders to align with aircraft scheduling and network goals
  • Drive safety improvement plans using data from incidents, audits, and observations
  • Lead and support investigations into recurring safety issues and embed a proactive safety culture
  • Oversee ACMI wet lease operations
  • Evaluate new technologies and equipment upgrades for operational and safety impact
  • Lead testing, trialling, and rollout of new tools or working practices, ensuring effective change management
  • Work with Procurement, Airports, and Engineering on equipment strategy for sustainable ramp operations
  • Manage and develop a Continuous Improvement Specialist, providing coaching and project oversight
  • Build strong relationships with ground operations teams, partners, and suppliers
  • Represent Ground Operations in improvement forums and strategic planning sessions
  • Attend industry conferences and forums, bringing back insights and best practices to inform easyJet’s strategies
  • Maintain a portfolio of improvement initiatives with clear objectives, timelines, and ROI
  • Produce regular performance and project updates for leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Contribute to business case development for investment in equipment, systems, or resourcing
Requirements of the Role
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years’ experience in aviation operations, ground handling, or continuous improvement leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of ramp operations, aircraft turnaround processes, and safety/regulatory frameworks
  • Proven success leading improvement projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to build compelling business cases
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and team leadership skills
  • Data‑driven decision making and strong reporting/visualisation abilities (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with regular travel across the network

Practicalities

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
