This is an exciting opportunity to join a Global Engineering & Manufacturing Company near Stevenage, where your expertise will help shape the future of production excellence and drive Continuous Improvement across your value stream.

Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D and Value Stream Mapping
  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to meet stringent quality standards
  • Drive defect prevention through robust process controls and error‑proofing solutions
  • Support new product development from concept through to launch
  • Specify and validate equipment, tooling, and fixtures to meet production needs
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives through process optimisation and value engineering
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing capital expenditure requirements, including justification and cost analysis
  • Support capital projects and contribute to CapEx planning and execution
Requirements
  • HND or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial preferred)
  • Experience in high‑volume manufacturing, ideally automotive or similar
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D and Value Stream Mapping
  • Practical exposure to Lean methodologies and structured problem‑solving tools
  • Knowledge of automated assembly systems, tooling and test equipment
