A community health organization is seeking a part-time Health Care Assistant in Shrewsbury. The role supports a specialist nurse, requiring travel to various clinics. Applicants should have an NVQ level 3 in care, effective interpersonal skills, and recent experience in a care role. Training will be provided for applicants without specific continence experience. Responsibilities include promoting health, undertaking clerical tasks, and delivering training sessions to the community. Salary ranges from £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro-rata.
Please note that this job is part-time and therefore does not meet the salary requirements for work visa sponsorship and as such we will be unable to progress your application if you do not have the right to work in the UK.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Continence Service as a Health Care Assistant (HCA). The HCA post is based at Lancaster Road Shrewsbury, but you will be expected to support a specialist nurse in clinics across the county in a variety of settings to include community hospitals and GP surgeries. Therefore, it is essential that you can meet the travel requirements of the job.

You will need to be confident in promoting health and wellbeing as the post requires the HCA to deliver targeted training in a classroom setting to the wider community utilising power point presentations and displaying visual aids.
