About the role

My client is a leading Legal 500 and Chambers ranked regional firm, currently seeking a Contentious Probate solicitor to join its established practice in Southampton. Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen to join the existing specialist team who are amongst the most highly regarded private client teams in the region.

Responsibilities

• Work on the full range of contentious probate work including wills disputes, probate actions, capacity issues, abuse of LPA and inheritance act claims.
• Collaborate with the private client team providing litigation support on mental capacity issues.
• Contribute to a collegiate environment with opportunities for progression and handling high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2-6 years plus PQE (as described).
• Proven track record in contentious probate work as above.
