Commercial Analyst | Film & Media (Central London, Hybrid)

Do you genuinely love film, and want a role where your thinking directly shapes commercial decisions, not just reports?

I'm hiring for a commercially minded analyst to join a major, consumer‑facing entertainment business at the heart of how content and pricing decisions are made. This is not a back‑office data role – it's about influencing what the business does next.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to:

  • Shape pricing and content strategy
  • Design and run commercial trials
  • Turn insight into clear recommendations the business actually implements
  • Influence decisions that affect revenue, customer experience and market performance

This role suits someone who enjoys:

  • Asking why – not just analysing what
  • Balancing commercial judgement with data
  • Seeing their work drive real‑world change
  • Being close to the action in a fast‑moving consumer business
The role (in plain English):
  • Commercial / business analysis across content, pricing and performance
  • Designing and evaluating trials and initiatives
  • Working cross‑functionally with finance, marketing and operations
  • Producing insight that informs strategy, not just reporting
  • Supporting forecasting and decision‑making at a senior level
About you:
  • Experience in a commercial, business analysis or analytical role
  • Strong commercial instinct – you care about outcomes, not just numbers
  • Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfort with BI / SQL is helpful but not the focus
  • A genuine interest in film / media – this really matters

Industry experience isn't essential. Curiosity, judgement and commercial mindset are.
