Job Description

An exciting opportunity to…

  • demonstrate what you're capable of,
  • and produce work that becomes quickly visible and highly impactful.

If you're excited at the prospect of working in a lean, agile, smart business operating at the sharp-end of social/content/influencer marketing, then this could be for you.

You will typically have between 5 and 8 years experience working in an agency. Your background and training will most likely be as an account planner in a full service agency.

The Content Planning Director will be well-versed in investigating, challenging, and developing:

  • brand strategy,
  • online media and social behaviours,
  • brand/category threats and opportunities,
  • new consumer, cultural, brand and digital trends,
  • and core content ideas for creative interpretations.
Qualifications

You will be adept at using open-source and subscription based planning and research tools, such as Google Trends & Analytics, and resources such as or similar to Nielsen, TGI Net and Comscore.

The Content Planning Director will work on new social/influencer content briefs. These may relate to incumbent clients, prospected opportunities as secured by the Brand Solutions/Sales teams, or they may relate to New Business pitches.

The Content Planning Director will be very comfortable working with highly experienced, senior personnel, and feel at ease articulating clear and reasoned strategic recommendations that will form the springboard for creative/content development. This role will be as a champion of Brave Bison's content planning process.

This is a roving, horizontal role that will find you working across social video broadcaster Brave Bison, providing insight, support, strategic counsel and substantiated rationale to the business's three key verticals - Brave Brand, Brave Studio and Brave Talent.

Role will report to the Chief Creative Officer, with day-to-day exposure working into the Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and respective teams.
