An opportunity has emerged for a talented Content Operations Manager looking for their next step up in SEO and content experience. Joining a 23 strong SEO department, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day content operations for a major global client.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the content marketing activity across the account, including strategic direction, content creation, operational, content distribution and digital PR and all other elements of content marketing. Working alongside technical and planning teams, the successful candidate will act as a strategic client account contact and content consultant helping to grow client’s organic visibility.

Project management, attention to detail and consistency, briefing large, multi‑market teams, working with content at scale, excellent time management, strong copywriting experience and creativity are essential for this role. Previous experience in an SEO or content manager role is preferred. As is a customer‑first, multi‑channel approach to content operations. Responsibilities

As the Content Operations Manager, you'll orchestrate content initiatives for our multinational client, overseeing daily workstreams such as on‑page optimisations, content creation, local market briefings, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.

The role will cover the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Creation and execution of content marketing strategies with a focus on content creation, operations and distribution
  • Conducting in‑depth content audits and competitor analysis
  • Line‑management of executives and apprentice including day‑to‑day tasks and appraisals, training, progression plans and personal development
  • Creation of content marketing proposals as and when required
  • Intent‑focused keyword research
  • Managing client relationships with excellent client facing skills
  • Detailed briefing and management of local agency content teams
  • Ensuring the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly SEO and content tasksCopywriting/proofing across products, categories and long‑form blogs and articles
  • Set up and implement quality standards for consistent delivery
  • Work effectively with planning and channel teams to ensure an integrated approach
  • Manage the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Working directly with, and managing the relationship with third‑party agencies
Qualifications
  • Prior experience within an SEO and content operations environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and inter‑personal relationship skills. Candidates must have the ability to very confidently communicate concepts simply and effectively direct to clients
  • Excellent and proactive workflow, prioritisation and project management skills including understanding of operations management tools such as Asana, Trello and Jira
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Up to date knowledge of the search marketing industry
  • A thorough understanding of an SEO orientated strategy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office solutions – particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Web Analytics understanding, particularly Google Analytics, SEMrush and Ahrefs
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience of working on rich media and social content, eg video, graphics
  • Experience working on Digital PR and content outreach projects
  • The ability to multi‑task and work on several areas at a time
  • Must be a self‑starter and highly motivated
