Your tasks
- AMAZON CONTENT: You will write, optimise, and proofread market-specific and SEO-relevant content (especially product titles, texts, and descriptions) for the UK marketplace. You’ll create brand content using images, videos, and text.
- SEO MARKETING: You’ll be responsible for keyword research for our product listings and for search engine optimisation, as well as the planning and management of content marketing campaigns.
- REVIEW & COORDINATION: You’ll coordinate and review the content development process of our UK writers and stay in regular exchange with them, while also liaising with writers across other markets.
- COMMUNICATION: You’ll be in direct contact with our clients and act as their contact person when it comes to their UK Amazon content and feedback loops.
- OPERATIONAL TASKS: You’ll support your team and other colleagues in the development and implementation of SEO/SEA measures or in the creation of internal text/e-commerce content.
Your profile
- LANGUAGE: Excellent communication skills as well as flawless spelling, punctuation, and grammar in English at a (near-)native level are a given for you. Any additional languages are a big plus.
- EXPERIENCE: You bring 2–3 years of hands-on experience in journalism or editorial work, SEO, and content creation - ideally in an agency environment. You’re also familiar with online and content marketing.
- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: You hold a university degree in journalism, linguistics, media or business studies - or a similar field.
- PASSION FOR WRITING: You’re able to explain complex topics in a clear and simple way, have a great eye for detail, enjoy working with digital tools, and know how to get to the point with engaging and effective texts.
- ENTHUSIASM FOR E-COMMERCE: You understand the connections between search engine optimisation, product discovery, and product presentation in the e-commerce world. Ideally, you have previous experience creating content for Amazon.co.uk or similar sites.
