Container Transport/Operations Director (Growing Business) – Ipswich, Suffolk – £100,000 - £120,000 + Progression + Pension

Are you a Container Transport/Operations Director or similar with a background in Logistics, specifically extensive experience in Container Solutions, looking to join a rapidly growing business with impressive career trajectory opportunities in the Logistics industry?

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the Container Operations team in a hands-on leadership role. Responsibilities include the organisation of a fleet of 25 trucks minimum, as well as their routes, timings and drivers, plus the development and implementation of Operational Strategies. You will also develop, mentor and subsequently lead your own Operations Team.

The Person

• A background in Logistics – specifically Container Operations
• Previous experience as an Operations Manager/Transport Planner
• In-depth knowledge of UK ports and depots
