What we are recruiting for:

We are currently looking for a Planning Manager with digital and data transformation experience for a fixed term contract 6 - 12 Months.

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using recognised planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and ensure alignment with project scope and objectives.
  • Monitor progress against baseline plans, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support risk and change management processes by assessing impacts on schedules and resources.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and risks.
  • Facilitate planning workshops and ensure stakeholder engagement in schedule development.
  • Integrate multiple workstreams and dependencies within programme-level plans.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks and planning standards.
Experience & background:
  • Proven experience in project planning within complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle methodologies.
  • Relevant qualification in project management or planning (e.g., APM, PMI, or equivalent).
  • Experience in infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects is desirable.
