Job Title

Account Executive – Corporate Reputation

Responsibilities
  • Maintain organized accounts and meet all client deadlines in collaboration with the Account Manager.
  • Prepare agendas and action notes for internal and client meetings.
  • Draft written content such as press releases, media pitches, bylined articles and social media copy.
  • Monitor news, flag relevant industry stories, and identify proactive commentary opportunities.
  • Support media outreach by building media lists, researching contacts, and providing input on media strategy.
  • Collect, collate, and distribute media coverage, producing activity reports for clients.
  • Participate in brainstorms and planning sessions for client campaigns.
  • Conduct online research using social media tools and techniques.
  • Maintain client files, ensuring records are organized and unnecessary drafts are deleted.
  • Research and source speaker opportunities, forward feature calendars, and qualification of opportunities.
  • Manage workload, setting and meeting deadlines while ensuring time for consultation and feedback.
  • Supervise junior staff, delegating tasks to Junior Account Executives and setting clear expectations.
  • Collaborate with wider agency teams (DE&I, Culture, Social, Influencer) and promote team communication.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm across ongoing workload and projects.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to provide updates and brief on challenges.
  • Act professionally when meeting the press, handling enquiries, selling stories, and ensuring copy is approved and submitted on time.
  • Produce a high standard of work, paying attention to detail and continuously looking for improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Early in career with at least one year of public relations experience.
  • Strong writing and media relations skills across various formats (press releases, case studies, opinion pieces, blog entries).
  • In‑depth knowledge of national, trade, and online media landscapes relevant to clients.
  • Proficiency in basic media research tools and the ability to develop insights on journalists and competitors.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Team‑oriented and capable of building relationships with stakeholders across the agency.
Compensation

Salary band: £27,500 – £29,000 (Level 03)
