A regional health organization in Shrewsbury is seeking a Consultant Psychologist in Cancer and Palliative Care. We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to take a lead on the provision of Specialist Psychological services in Cancer and Palliative Care settings across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.
The post will suit a Clinical Psychologist with experience of working within physical health care; ideally with clinical experience in cancer and/or palliative care services and experience of offering leadership in a physical health care setting.
The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of highly specialised psychological services and will support the development of psychologically and trauma-informed practice across acute, community and hospice settings.
The post-holder will join colleagues in a growing Physical Health Psychology offer within MPFT\'s Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Care Group, and benefit from well-established relationships with partner organisations.
