A regional health trust in Blackpool is seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for the CAMHS team. The position offers responsibilities in leading mental health services with a focus on children and young people. Applicants must have GMC registration and relevant qualifications. Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS, Blackpool (10PA). Two substantive posts available.
The post holder will join the Fylde and Wyre CAMHS Team, based at Whitegate Drive Health Centre in Blackpool. The roles are full time (10 Programmed Activities).
This post includes eligibility for a Recruitment & Retention Premium and a place on the Trust’s Safety and Improvement Fellowship programme (funded by the Trust). The successful applicant will be required to participate on the Consultant On Call rota with additional remuneration.
The post holders will be leading members of a well-established community children and young people’s mental health service. One post is newly created as a result of the Children and Young People’s (CYP) transformation. There are opportunities to contribute to service development and improvement.
Main duties include participating in the on-call rota and providing high quality clinical leadership within CAMHS.

Remuneration will be as set out in the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience.
Eligibility criteria apply. Staff currently employed by the Trust would not be eligible to apply for the recruitment and retention premium.
