In this role, you will take clinical responsibility for patients, fulfill a Responsible Clinician role, and supervise admissions. Priory Hospital Bristol is looking to recruit the Consultant Psychiatrist Private Addictions Ward to join the team. This is a part-time role of 22.5 or 30 hours that can be over three or four days.
Priory Hospital Bristol is an elegant 18th century country residence set in beautiful parkland close to the centre of Bristol, less than 5 minutes away from the M32 leading directly onto the M4/M5 motorway. Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group it has 77 beds over seven wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntingdon’s and Dementia. This post requires a strong team player who is eager to engage in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans. The appointed consultant must hold and maintain registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), including inclusion on the relevant Specialist Register, and be prepared to provide evidence of this registration to the Hospital Director or Group Medical Officer upon request.
