Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist
Service Line: Female Mental Health Rehabilitation
Professionally Accountable to: Medical Director
Managerially Responsible to: Hospital Manager
We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist who will work at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge and provide senior medical cover on our 24 bed mental health rehabilitation service for women.
The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician and will oversee and maintain the care of all ward inpatients as required and will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC standards of good medical practice and other relevant professional guidelines.
ygnet Delfryn Lodge provides a flexible mental health rehabilitation service for women including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community Rehabilitation (Level 1). This dual-level rehabilitation model ensures that women receive the support they need while developing independence at their own pace. Women placed with us often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.By combining a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, we deliver high-quality care using our unique 4 stage model of care.
In this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team including qualified nurses, psychologist and occupational therapist.
And you'll have the opportunity to progress to Medical Director Level through our management schemes.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
