RIG Healthcare is delighted to be recruiting for a Consultant Interventional Radiologist for a leading NHS Trust in Greater London.

Consultant General Radiologist – £75,249 – 104,451 per annum + annual leave, pension, study leave, CPD.

Benefits:
  • £75,249 – 104,451 annual salary for 10 PA’s + extra PA’s available;

  • Annual Leave of up to 6 weeks plus eight public holidays plus study leave.

Organisation

– The post holder will have significant independence in developing the job and will be encouraged to be innovative and responsive in changing the job plan to meet service needs.

A formal job plan will be agreed with the appointee and their Business Unit Director, on behalf of the Medical Director, three months after the commencement date of the appointee.

– All consultants are required to maintain and develop their clinical skills. Individual training and development needs will be identified through an appraisal process taking into account NHS Trust requirements. All Consultants in the Trust participate in the Trust’s appraisal process.

Clinical Governance

– To provide clinical services in line with the Trust’s clinical governance arrangements which are designed to ensure that agreed quality standards are achieved. These requirements include Auditing, Continuing Medical Education, Risk Management and Appraisals.

There is an expectation that part of this job should involve on-going teaching and training of primary care colleagues through group teaching and practice-based session.
