One Health is looking for a fellowship-trained Consultant Gynaecologist with a special interest in Urogynaecology.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similarrole in a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook,empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patientconfidentiality.

You shouldcurrently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post (more than12 months)

If not in currentNHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 yearsbefore leaving the NHS

On GMC register andhave no hearings or restrictions

Should haverelevant sub specialist qualifications (FRCS {orth})

Be on thespecialist register

Main duties of the job

This role will involve assessing andoperating on NHS patients referred to One Health, via the NHS e-ReferralSystem. Appointments will be held across a number of outreach clinic sitesacross South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. Operations willtake place within a range of independent sector hospitals, the Consultant must thereforebe prepared to travel.

One Health is looking for afellowship-trained Consultant Gynaecologist to support and grow the One HealthGroup Gynaecology team. The role will involve assessing and operating on NHS patientsreferred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System. All surgeons who workwith One Health will be subject to our onboarding process and approval from ourClinical Governance Lead. Practicing Privileges will be required to be obtainedfor each hospital where procedures are undertaken.

The work will be undertaken acrossSouth and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, the Consultant must thereforebe prepared to travel.
