  • Within 6 months of receiving CCT/CESR award or already awarded.
  • Instructor status in ALS/ATLS/APLS – preferred; in-date provider status – essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, timely, evidence-based care to patients presenting in the Emergency Department.
  • Lead clinical governance activities and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to training programmes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews.
  • Collate and report on departmental performance indicators.

Emergency Medicine Consultant – Wexham Park Hospital

The Consultant body is friendly and energetic. We work together as a team to ensure the Emergency Department at Wexham Park Hospital delivers outstanding, consultant‑delivered care and maintains strong relationships with speciality colleagues.

Team

You will join a multidisciplinary team consisting of 16 Consultants, 12 Higher Speciality Trainees, 14 Speciality Doctors/Senior Clinical Fellows, 31 Junior doctors (including FY2, GP VTS, ACCS, and Junior Clinical Fellows) and 5 ACPs.
