Job Opportunity:Senior Associate/Legal Director – Non-Contentious Construction
Location:Glasgow

Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join a leading infrastructure and construction team in Glasgow. This role focuses on non-contentious construction matters, advising on the legal aspects of major development, regeneration, and engineering projects across the UK, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector. You'll work closely with a diverse client base and play a key role in shaping complex, high-value transactions.

Role Requirements:

Experience:
• 6+ years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, development agreements and associated documentation
• Experience advising on large-scale projects across sectors such as property, infrastructure, and energy

Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate a range of construction documents including building contracts, appointments, warranties and guarantees
• Advise clients including developers, contractors, funders, consultants and public sector bodies
• Support business development through client engagement, networking and cross-team collaboration

Skills:
• Excellent drafting and technical skills in construction law
• Confident communicator with a commercial and solutions-focused mindset
• Well-organised with the ability to manage complex workloads and deadlines
