A leading construction firm based in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Retail projects from bidding to execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing heavy duty Retail projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and strong communication skills in either Spanish or Portuguese. This role is fully remote, offering travel and accommodation for on-site project work.

Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients, whereby you'll be working on refurbishments that require quick turn arounds for new store opening. This role is technically demanding and requires experience in heavy duty Retail projects on a large format scale. The company is a Spanish outfit that delivers Retail Design projects across the UK and Ireland in the Retail Sector for European brands, and you must have experience working on construction projects in the Retail sector.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee projects from bidding to execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and coordinate with senior management.
  • Manage budgets and timelines to ensure client satisfaction and timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with Technical departments and drive projects to completion on time.
  • Read and amend construction plans (AutoCAD); BIM knowledge is a bonus.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements (CSCS or equivalent).
Qualifications
  • Experience in heavy duty Retail projects on a large format scale.
  • Experience working on construction projects in the Retail sector.
  • Occupational health and safety training in line with CSCS.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD to read and amend plans; BIM knowledge is a bonus.
  • Strong skills in either Portuguese or Spanish.
  • Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with Technical departments; client satisfaction is a priority.
Additional Details

This role is FULLY REMOTE and can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel and accommodation will be covered when working on-site on large, continuous projects.
