Construction - Process Engineer - Senior Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide practical and technical support for environmental consultancy projects on commercial, industrial, municipal wastewater and sludge processing projects. You will contribute to a variety of consultancy project types that will primarily include operational and commissioning support, project management, QHSE support, and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Operational and Commissioning Support – provide on‑site and desk‑based technical process support on operational, commissioning and process consultancy projects as required by the business.
  • Project Management – manage all aspects of projects assigned, including development of proposals, producing RAMS, managing resources, time, contractors, client relationships and financial aspects.
  • Support QHSE Manager – develop, implement and continually improve standard procedures and quality systems.
  • Business Development – develop a network of existing and new clients and manage client relationships to support business growth strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • BSc or BEng (minimum) in a relevant field, with strong theoretical knowledge in water/wastewater chemistry, microbiology, and engineering.
  • Practical experience of working on industrial sites/water utility sites.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Full clean driver’s licence and access to a private vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and work away for short periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic approach to problem solving.
