Job Description
The Construction Counsel will be responsible for carrying out a range of contentious and non-contentious duties, mainly overseeing and managing cases related to latent defect claims, as well as providing vital services in connection with the formation and review of complex construction contracts and other legal matters. The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer in England & Wales (or an equivalent Common Law jurisdiction) with a minimum of three years PQE as a contentious construction lawyer. They should have a thorough understanding of the Housing Grants, Construction & Regeneration Act 1996, the Scheme for Construction Contracts (England & Wales) Regulations 1998, the Civil Procedure Rules, and disrepair issues related to property maintenance.
