A leading international company based in Long Eaton is seeking an experienced Consolidations & Audit Manager to support new UK reporting requirements and lead audit initiatives. The role requires a qualified accountant with strong IFRS knowledge and a solid technical accounting background. Overview

Consolidations & Audit Manager – Remote (remote with occasional travel to Derby site). Full Time, Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Support new IFRS and country/UK reporting requirements, providing guidance and support.
  • Lead allocations and consolidations reporting.
  • Partner with finance site controllers on quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosures.
  • Initiate and manage audits, including consolidations & audit activities.
  • Build, coordinate and direct audits for group/ownership/countries reporting, communicating findings to the audit committee.
  • Monitor risks and coordinate business risk assessments as a preliminary step in audit planning.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and audit background.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Competent user of ERP systems.
  • Experience working through audits and consolidation of legal entities.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to investigate and resolve problems effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to reconcile financial data.
  • Effective communicator with exceptional organisational skills.
