Job summary

A leading hospitality firm in Greater London is seeking a Conference & Events Supervisor to oversee food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a strong knowledge of service standards. You will be the go-to person in the venue ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role may require flexible hours and involves moving and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.

We are looking for a key player to join our team as a Conference & Events Supervisor. This person is the fountain of knowledge and the go-to person at the venue. Your goal will be to oversee all daily food and beverage operations, ensuring our guests consistently receive the best-in-class, seamless experience that Convene is known for.

What We Look For :
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a conference center or a related field
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of service standards, and different service types
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
