Computing Teacher – Secondary School | Newham

Location: Newham, East London
Role: Secondary Computing Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Start: ASAP or next term
Contract: Full-time, Long-term or Permanent, Short-term
Pay: £130 - 250 per day

We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Newham that’s looking for a confident and engaging Computing Teacher to join their team. The department is well-resourced, leadership is supportive, and pupils are keen to learn, especially when lessons are practical, relevant, and well-paced.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Computing across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 if desired
  • Delivering engaging lessons in areas such as computer science, digital literacy, and programming
  • Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Working as part of a collaborative and welcoming department
  • Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour
