Are you an inspiring and dedicated Computing/ ICT Teacher looking for a new role in South Manchester?

We are working with a thriving secondary school in South Manchester that is seeking a dynamic and passionate teacher to join their successful Computing department. The school has a strong reputation for academic achievement, a supportive SLT, and an inclusive ethos that fosters a love for learning.

The Role
  • Teaching Computing, Computer Science, and/or ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support student progress
  • Creating a classroom environment that encourages active learning and promotes digital literacy
  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Supporting whole-school initiatives in digital learning and online safety
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has recent experience teaching Computing or ICT in a UK secondary school setting
  • Is confident in delivering programming and digital systems content, with knowledge of Python or other relevant coding languages desirable
  • Has a strong grasp of online safety and can support the school's safeguarding priorities through digital education
  • Can demonstrate excellent classroom management and a commitment to inclusive practice
  • Is proactive, reflective, and passionate about using technology to enhance learning
