Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join a school on a long-term basis, starting January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their skills in computing and digital technologies across Key Stages 3–5.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop problem-solving, coding, and computational thinking skills.
  • Support students in practical and theory-based learning, including programming, algorithms, and digital literacy.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extra-curricular computing activities.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Ideal qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Computer Science.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in computing, programming, and digital technologies.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Science Teacher.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
