Composite Fitter x2 – Derbyshire | Permanent and Contract available | Competitive Salary (DOE)
Our client, a leading manufacturer for high-performance sectors, is currently seeking 2x Composite Fitters to support continued growth within their precision engineering facility.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Trim, shape, and fit composite parts using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Bond composite components using adhesives, resins, and mechanical fasteners.
- Assemble components in accordance with defined sequences, ensuring correct fit, alignment, and surface finish.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure components meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the work area.
- Collaborate with Fitting Section Team Lead and Engineering staff to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
- Accurately document all fitting and assembly activities, including any non-conformities or deviations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, materials, and techniques.
- Perform other duties as required to support the department and wider production objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar composite fitting role.
- Proven background in the fitting, bonding, trimming, and assembly of composite components.
- Experience working with parts for motorsport, automotive, or aerospace applications.
- Comfortable using air tools, hand tools, jigs, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively to resolve challenges.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively across departments.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
