Overview

Our client, a global telecoms organisation with a strong culture of integrity and governance, is seeking a Senior Compliance Programmes Manager to join their Group Compliance function. This role is central to designing, managing, and delivering strategic compliance initiatives that support the organisation’s risk and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Compliance Programmes and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of high-profile compliance initiatives, from planning through to execution and review
  • Ensure programmes meet scope, time, and quality targets while aligning with organisational risk and regulatory objectives
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration and serve as a key interface between compliance and other departments, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Lead regular programme meetings, progress reviews, and issue resolution sessions
  • Strengthen compliance oversight and support the development of robust monitoring frameworks that assess the effectiveness of compliance controls across the Group
  • Use data and KPIs to track programme performance and escalate areas of concern or emerging risks
  • Deliver insightful reporting and produce clear and concise reports and updates for senior leadership, providing visibility into programme progress and outcomes
  • Maintain organised, audit-ready documentation for all programme activities
Qualifications
  • Have experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar regulatory function
  • Have experience in managing programmes or large-scale initiatives in a corporate setting
  • Have a strong foundation in designing compliance oversight and monitoring structures
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Professional certifications in compliance, risk, or project management are desirable
