The Role

This is an exciting opportunity as it is a new role being introduced to the group, reporting to our General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer, we are looking for a Compliance manager to join our Legal team!

As a Compliance Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the company's global legal compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions - across the UK, United States, Germany, India and China.

You will ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies while promoting a strong culture of ethics, integrity and compliance across all business units.

Key responsibilities:
Compliance Program Management
  • Develop and implement and continuously improve the global compliance management system in line with applicable laws, regulation and best practice.
  • Maintain and update global compliance policies.
Risk Assessment and controls
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, including corruption, antitrust, export control, sanctions, data protection and ESG related risks.
Monitoring, investigations and reporting
  • Monitor compliance with policies and legal requirements, including audits and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee whistleblowing and reporting mechanism and ensure appropriate follow up and mediation.
Regulatory & Advisory Support
  • Draft all committee charters, procedures and other governance documents which may be required.
Third-Party & Supply Chain Compliance
  • Implement and oversee third‑party compliance processes, including due diligence of agents, distributors, suppliers, and joint venture partners.
  • Support supply chain compliance initiatives, including sanctions, export controls, and ESG requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Compliance Manager with experience in compliance, legal, internal audit or risk management ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment. You will have proven experience working in a compliance role managing global or regional compliance programs.

To support us in continuously improving our compliance training you will have strong knowledge of global compliance topics, including anti‑corruption, antitrust, export control, sanctions and data protection.

You will have knowledge and an understanding of compliance to global supply chains and risks associated with these.

You will have strong stakeholder management skills to communicate and gain buy in across cultures and seniority levels.
