More about the role

As Compliance Manager you will lead a team to support the Head of Maintenance and carry out a quality assurance role to ensure that we meet regulatory requirements and the data and recording is accurate and timely.

You will also be responsible for writing reports for changes to legislation or good practice and the financial implications of changes for the organisation.

Excellent team / staff management working skills

IT literate in both Asset Management software and Excel

Able to deal effectively and efficiently with updated legislation and predict implications for SYHA and its customers

Able to process, monitor and update maintenance calls with the minimum of delay

Ability to manage service contracts and solve problems and issues arising from reports

Ability to work collaboratively with other Maintenance Managers to ensure team members are managing, monitoring and recording servicing and legislative maintenance

You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, will thrive under pressure and most importantly care about giving the best possible service to our diverse range of customers.

You will understand the challenges carrying out servicing contracts in customers homes and some of the issues that arise from that.

You will build collaborative, constructive relationships with contractors to provide assurances to Property Services clients and Executive Leadership Team that our homes and assets are compliant and safe .

You will manage and engage a team of staff to ensure SYHA maintains its excellent compliance performance for its customers and homes
