We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Complex Dementia Lead to join our team in Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of dementia care to take on a leadership role, guiding best practice and ensuring our residents living with complex dementia receive the highest quality of support.

A nursing qualification is not required for this role — we welcome applications from highly skilled Senior Carers, Dementia Specialists, or individuals with extensive experience working in dementia environments.

About the Role
  • Developing and overseeing personalised dementia care plans
  • Supporting, coaching, and mentoring staff in dementia best practices
  • Leading on behaviour support strategies and person‑centred approaches
  • Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team to maintain outstanding dementia care standards
  • Promoting a positive, enriching environment for residents and their families
Essential Criteria
  • Strong experience working with individuals living with complex dementia
  • Proven leadership skills or the ability to guide and support a team
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, resident‑focused approach
  • Ability to work proactively and use initiative in challenging situations
  • (Nursing qualification is not required.)
