A leading NHS health provider is seeking a Community Support Worker based in Camborne, responsible for delivering care and support for individuals primarily in their homes. The role involves flexible working hours, providing personal care, assisting with meals, and general social interaction with patients. Candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in care or equivalent, along with good communication skills. This position supports a friendly team focused on improving the health and well-being of individuals in the community.

The role is similar to a Health Care Assistant in that you will be delivering great care and supporting reablement for people in mainly in their own homes.
You will be within the Kerrier Primary Care Network, covering Camborne, Redruth, Helston and surrounding areas. Travel costs for journeys during work time are supported and pool cars are also available for work use.
You will need to demonstrate good communication skills and a positive approach to people who may have communication difficulties or who have challenging health needs. You will be part of a dedicated team and will be provided with bespoke training to support your development in this role.
You will be required to work a rota that covers 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00 hours. Flexibility within this rota, and geographical location, will be important.
