A healthcare community service provider in Brighton is seeking a Community Respiratory Rehabilitation Assistant to join their supportive team. This role involves working closely with a dynamic team to assist patients in managing their lung conditions, conducting home visits, and providing educational sessions. Candidates must have NVQ Level III in Health Care or equivalent experience and possess excellent communication skills. This position offers a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 per annum, pro-rata.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join the Community Respiratory Service in Brighton as a Community Respiratory Rehabilitation Assistant. You will be working as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team comprising of nurses, physios, occupational therapist, cognitive behavioural therapist, associate practitioners and community rehabilitation assistants.
We work to help patients independently manage their lung condition on a day to day basis and to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. You will be responsible for following care plans given by all members of this multidisciplinary team. The role consists of home visits, teaching and assessing skills of self-management. You will also assist in pulmonary rehabilitation provision and clinics. There is also an administrative element to the position.
