A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality safe nursing care for clients with mental health needs and offending histories. This role involves community-based assessments, collaboration with various organisations, and providing flexible care to service users and their carers. This role is suitable for Registered Nurses who have completed preceptorship and are registered as an approved NMC mentor. The post holder will deliver, or advise on the delivery of, high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct.
The post holder will provide community-based assessment, treatment, and care for people aged 18–65 who have a history of offending and who have mental health needs. The role aims to provide a flexible, responsive and pro-active programme of care and support for service users and their carers.
You will be required to develop and maintain links across a wide variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations such as Probation, MAPPA, social services, Jigsaw, Hostels and other voluntary and non-voluntary services. You will also be involved in specialist mental health assessments and the application of evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
