Key Responsibilities

As a Community Paediatric Nurse, you will:

• Provide specialist paediatric nursing care, including IV therapy, cannulation, and subcutaneous injections
• Conduct clinical assessments and monitor each child's ongoing care needs
• Manage a daily caseload of 4‑5 children, ensuring continuity and quality
• Communicate effectively with families, carers, and wider healthcare teams

Requirements

• Registered Children’s Nurse (RSCN/RCN) with an active NMC PIN
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience within hospital or community paediatric care
• Competent in cannulation, subcutaneous injections, and clinical assessments
• Phlebotomy skills are desirable
