Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid driving license and be flexible to travel.

  • Set up automated PD machines for patients.

Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives? Our client - a leading and rapidly growing healthcare provider - is looking for a Community Nurse to deliver high-quality renal and peritoneal dialysis care in patients’ homes in the Bangor, North Wales region and surrounding areas. The role offers an attractive salary of £40,840, paid mileage, and full training in dialysis.

You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, with no nights and weekend work on rotation. The shift pattern is 7am-3/4pm, or 1pm–10pm. You’ll receive 31 days of annual leave including bank holidays, plus an extra day off for your birthday, a private pension, car scheme and extra bonuses.

Our client is a dynamic healthcare company focused on delivering exceptional services in both home and clinical settings. You will be caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in and around Bangor, North Wales.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
  • Set up patients automated PD machines.
  • Visit patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
  • Monitor observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure patient receives correct regime.
  • Provide peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
  • Support both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.

Qualifications
  • Current NMC qualifications as a Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A valid driving license and flexibility to travel.
  • Community experience is desirable.
  • Full training is provided in dialysis.
